Data we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect the information you enter yourself: name, email address and message text. This information is stored on our server and used solely to respond to your enquiry.

We do not use any external analytics tools, and there is no advertising on the website. We keep our own simple visitor statistics; see below.

Cookies

The website sets a necessary session cookie so that basic functions work. It contains no personal information. It is also used to group together the page views within a single visit in our visitor statistics, but never for marketing, and it is not shared with anyone.

The fonts on the website are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Your browser then sends a request directly to Google's servers, which means that your IP address becomes visible to Google in connection with that request. We do not otherwise share any information with Google.

Visitor statistics

To understand how the website is used, we store, for each page view, which page was displayed, the time, the type of device (computer, mobile or tablet) and, for the first page of the visit, which website you came from (host and path) or any campaign parameters in the link. We do not store any IP address, country or any information you enter, and logged-in administrators and search engine bots are not counted. The data is used only as aggregated statistics, is not disclosed to anyone else and is deleted automatically after 13 months. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website.

Retention period

Messages sent via the contact form are kept for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry. If you would like us to delete an enquiry you have previously submitted, please contact us using the details above.

Your rights

  • You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • You have the right to request rectification of inaccurate data.
  • You have the right to request erasure of your data.
  • You have the right to object to our processing of your data.
  • You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se, if you believe that we are processing your data incorrectly.

Orders

When you order Fyrvakt, payment is made via Stripe. We receive your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address, any company registration number or VAT number, quantity and amount. Card details are handled solely by Stripe and never reach us. The information is used to deliver and invoice the order, to handle complaints and to comply with the Swedish Accounting Act (bokföringslagen), which requires accounting records to be kept for seven years.

Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. processes payment data in accordance with its own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy). The delivery address is passed on to the shipping company.
